Constance Elizabeth Swaniker is a revered sculptor, educator, and entrepreneur whose work has significantly influenced Ghana’s art and design landscape. She received a diverse education in The Gambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Ghana, which has deeply shaped her worldview. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture from KNUST College of Art in Kumasi, Constance quickly founded Accents & Art Ltd, a company specializing in bespoke wrought iron furniture, which has grown to become a leading entity in West Africa.
Under her leadership, Accents & Art has not only thrived commercially but has also played a crucial role in training over 600 youths through partnerships with prominent universities and technical institutions. In 2016, she established the Design and Technical Institute (DTI) in Accra to bridge the gap between academia and industry, creating accredited programs in precision fabrication and quality. Her work decorates numerous upscale environments, including homes, offices, and diplomatic missions both locally and internationally.
