Design Consultants was established in 1968 by Paul Adumua as the pioneer private practice Civil and Structural Engineering Firm.
Under the guidance of Michael Adumua (son of Paul Adumua), Design Consultants has evolved into an architectural and interior design firm headquartered in Accra, Ghana with a focus on hospitality and gaming projects. The firm’s scope of project type comprises of Hotel, Resort, Casino, Entertainment Facilities, Retail, Restaurant, Night club, Bar/Lounge, and High end Residential. Design Consultants is a full-service one-stop shop. The firm designs both the exterior and interior of the built environment.

Michael Adumua brings new meaning to design in architecture. For him, it is not just another element of the creation process that has to be ticked off the list; it is actually where all the magic happens.
As an architectural designer, Michael’s main focus is in the details and the details are in the design. He works with the vision of form and space to create unique environments that are truly functional and most importantly just what you need.
The great thing about design, Michael believes, is the limitless opportunities it offers the designer; suddenly all the boundaries of the world are torn down and there are a million and one thoughts that can all play a role. That’s the point where amazing happens.
